Washed in the Blood

Rebirth through Christ is confusing to a lot of people. Not so much the term rebirth or reborn, but the very idea that we are somehow worthy of such love.

The world likes to cater to our egos and tell us we’re worth it no matter what we do, that we’re innately good but the truth is, we aren’t. Nothing we have done deserves the grace and compassion Jesus has shown for us and make no mistake about it, it’s only by His grace that we are saved.

When we’re born on earth, we come out and open our eyes and everything is new. Everything is different. It’s a whole new world. It’s the same through our salvation.

When we are spiritually reborn through Christ, we open our eyes and everything is different. When your sins are washed away and you start to realize that God doesn’t just love righteous people but He loves real sinners, everything looks different. The way you see yourself is different. The way you see the world is different. The way you see God is different.

“For God so loved the world, as to give His only begotten Son; that whosoever believes in him, may not perish, but may have life everlasting” John 3:16

It says for God so loved the world. Guess what? That includes you. And while it may not be by our own acts or deeds that we are saved but by what Jesus has done on the cross, don’t for a second think that you are the exception to His promise. Your sins are forgiven. You have life with God because He has mercy when you are born again. All you have to do is accept Jesus into your heart and believe in Him. Amen!?

Amen!
